Betty Graham is living proof that life can be full of love, laughter and wonderful surprises.
Back in high school, Betty worked at an ice cream shop in Sabina, Ohio, where one of the owners just happened to be the local high school basketball coach. Playing matchmaker, he introduced her to Clarence Graham, and it turned out to be the sweetest scoop of all! The two were married for 70 wonderful years, and today, Betty is the proud matriarch of three children, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to working at the ice cream shop, Betty also held positions at the Clinton County Grain Terminal and First National Bank before spending 27 years at the Clinton County Engineer’s Office, where she worked until retirement.
At Ohio Living Cape May, Betty has high praise for the staff and living environment. “The staff is nice and always available to help. Ohio Living Cape May makes life much easier; everything is taken care of here.” She fills her days with the things she loves, including watching basketball and baseball, and completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
