In honor of Social Work Month, we are excited to spotlight Natalie. She joined Ohio Living Llanfair in the summer of 2025 as a social worker, and this is her first experience working in long-term care.

As a social worker, Natalie helps complete intake assessments, coordinates care conferences and plans for rehab discharges. She also completes quarterly mental health assessments to ensure residents are finding support in the community. Some of her administrative work includes helping residents apply for and access Medicaid benefits when they have outlived their resources. One of her favorite parts of the job is hosting a monthly mental health support group that provides a safe space for residents to discuss their wellbeing.

Her work also extends beyond the walls of Ohio Living Llanfair. By helping residents plan for discharge and connecting them to follow-up services, Natalie supports the overall health and functioning of the greater Cincinnati area. When residents return home empowered and supported, the positive impact spreads to their families and neighbors.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is the youngest of four children, with a twin sister and two older siblings who are also twins. She currently shares an apartment in Kentucky with her twin sister, her chinchilla and her sister’s cat. She loves being outdoors and enjoys running, hiking and occasionally fishing.

Natalie approaches her work with dignity and respect, guided by the belief that small acts of care can change a person’s whole world. She often reflects on the quote, “To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.” Her dedication embodies the heart of social work and the mission of Ohio Living Llanfair.
