Hospice patient makes waves and memories on Buckeye Lake

On Aug. 27, hospice patient James Marshall celebrated his lifelong love of boating with a beautiful day on the water at Buckeye Lake through the Make It Happen® program.

Joined by his daughter, Ann, and members of his hospice care team, James enjoyed a memorable day on the lake aboard a pontoon boat generously donated by Buckeye Marina and Captain Brian Winder.

Gratitude goes to Buckeye Marina, Captain Brian Winder, the Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice - Greater Columbus team, and everyone who helped make this experience possible. This marks the second Make It Happen® event supported by Buckeye Marina, making the continued partnership especially meaningful.

Make It Happen® is a program that brings special moments of joy and meaning to those nearing the end of their lives by fulfilling their life-enhancing wishes. Each moment is unique and personal: It can be larger than life, like a hot air balloon ride, or a simple wish for family at a distance to come together one last time.
