Ohio Living Mount Pleasant resident Rose Morgan measures accomplishment not by titles or timelines, but by connection. “Being able to touch base with a variety of people,” she relayed, “is one of my great accomplishments.”
That perspective was shaped through years of nursing, where Rose often supported people during their most vulnerable moments. One especially tense situation with a distressed patient was resolved peacefully through Rose’s calm presence and quick thinking.
Rose’s openness extends beyond her professional life. She has always enjoyed meeting people and learning their stories, whether through travel, reading, needlework, or welcoming individuals from other countries into her home.
Family remains a central source of pride. Rose speaks fondly of her five children and their varied paths in music, academics, business, technology and service. Interestingly, she helped launch a computer business decades ago with her son-in-law and a colleague, an endeavor that continues to thrive today and reflects her forward-thinking spirit.
Now residing at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant, Rose describes life as full, if a bit slower paced. She and her husband, David, chose to move earlier rather than later.
“At 87, everything takes longer to do,” Rose remarked. “It’s a lovely thing to have help at every turn of the road.”
