Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a proud graduate of Hughes High School, Sue Heath’s professional journey began at the Cincinnati Board of Education as a secretary to a grade school principal.

Sue’s career took several exciting turns, from working a holiday rush at Schenley Distillery to running her own restaurant while raising two children. She later worked on an assembly line at Kahn's Meat Packing and eventually found her stride at Avon Products, where she spent 28 fulfilling years. Rising from a packer to a management position as an Ingredient Analyst and Buyer, Sue trained new employees, visited suppliers and even traveled to Avon’s New York City headquarters during her tenure.

After retirement, Sue embraced a new role in a Florida adult community as the social director for their Homeowners Association. She organized breakfasts, dinners, dances and even helped negotiate rent for the community.

Now as a resident at Ohio Living Llanfair, Sue remains as active as ever. When she’s not painting in the Larchwood watercolor class or leading five Wii bowling teams, she helps organize a variety of festive gatherings on campus for occasions like New Year’s Eve and the Kentucky Derby.

Sue also serves on the food committee and acts as an ambassador for new residents at Ohio Living Llanfair. “The family atmosphere is what I love most here,” she shared. “I’m never lonely. There’s always someone to talk to, or the comfort of solitude when I need it.”

And did we mention Sue was once a whiskey taster and a “weiner skinner”? Yes, her fascinating past includes surprising roles, as well as membership in the Rebekah Lodge and the Lioness Club.

To those considering a move to Ohio Living Llanfair, Sue offers simple, heartfelt advice. “Don’t be afraid of change. Life is full of changes. Embrace this one…it’s your next great adventure!”
