Anne serves as director of community relations and social worker at Ohio Living Ganzhorn Suites. She helped open the community and has been part of the fold for nearly 11 years.
In her role, Anne supports families as they explore memory care options for their loved ones, while also building partnerships with local organizations and agencies.
“One of my favorite parts about my role is being a resource to people,” Anne relayed. “If you’re thinking about getting into healthcare, you need to consider it a mission and not just a job. The most successful people in this field go home at the end of the day knowing they have made a difference, not a sale.”
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Anne has worked in social services for more than 30 years. She earned her master’s degree in counseling from Wright State University and has dedicated much of her career to helping individuals and families navigate important life decisions.
Anne and her husband, Rick, have lived in Powell, Ohio, for nearly 25 years. Rick has a daughter, Lindsey, whom Anne lovingly calls her “bonus daughter.” Lindsey and her husband, Brandon, welcomed their daughter, Lyla, in December 2024, making Anne and Rick proud grandparents.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys walking and relaxing on her patio. She also prioritizes her faith and is a member of New Hope Church. One of her greatest passions is animal rescue and advocacy. Interestingly, Anne began volunteering in animal shelters when she was just 10 years old and has been involved with Powell Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) dog rescue for more than 15 years.
