Ohio Living Quaker Heights recently welcomed John Wesley “Wes” Ramsey as its new executive director. Ramsey will oversee campus operations and provide strategic leadership, while supporting staff engagement, resident satisfaction and strong community partnerships.

Ramsey earned a master’s degree in public administration from SUNY Brockport in New York and is a licensed nursing home administrator. He is a current board member and past president of the Miami Valley Long-Term Care Association and an active member of numerous community organizations, including Rotary, Civitans, Lions and Optimist clubs. He also serves on the Antioch Shrine Foundation Board after previously serving as Potentate of Antioch Shrine.

"Wes brings more than 30 years of senior living leadership experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit settings," said Aric Arnett, Ohio Living division director of operations. "He has led operations across the full continuum of care, most recently in skilled nursing and assisted living, where he achieved census growth, strengthened community relationships, improved quality ratings and consistently exceeded budgetary goals.”

Outside of work, Wes enjoys staying active through running, golfing and gardening. He has also performed in community theater productions, including portraying Paul Sheldon in Stephen King’s “Misery.”

Wes and his wife, Johanna, are proud parents of twins, John Wesley Ramsey IV and Mercedes Cecelia. They are also primary caregivers for Wes’s 92-year-old father, a role that reflects their commitment to family and caring for others.
