The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! At Ohio Living Dorothy Love, Amy was nominated for her kindness, empathy and sincere consideration for others. If residents have a complaint or suggestion about the food or service, Amy, who works as a dietary supervisor, is thoughtful and swift to action.
Her leader shared, “Amy always shows kindness and patience with the residents and her co-workers. She has such a big heart! When her colleague was in a car accident, Amy was given parts of her job to do with very little warning. At times, I believe it was overwhelming and challenging for Amy, but she did it with resolve, hard work, commitment and humor.”
