The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! At Ohio Living Corporate, Angi was nominated for “making all of us better, with her big heart and big outcomes.” She brings more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, professor and dean, and since joining the Ohio Living HR team in 2020, has fully committed to learning all about the senior living industry.
“Angi is a systems thinker and contributor,” her nominator shared. “In addition to making an impactful difference in her HR executive support role, she has recently partnered to bring more value to Ohio Living’s Workforce Investment initiatives. Some teammates face barriers to their successful work experience with financial challenges, food scarcity, transportation or elder/childcare issues. By creating strong relationships with location apprentices and their colleges, Angi has worked to update resource sheets statewide so all staff can find necessary assistance in the communities they reside.”
Angi accomplishes a lot daily, and her work style is exemplary. Her nominator added, “Angi’s approach is full of kindness, compassion and empathy, and the words ‘going above and beyond’ are insufficient to describe her contributions.”
