The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! At Ohio Living Village Home Health & Hospice, Samantha was nominated for going above and beyond to make life brighter for others. Whether it’s taking a resident on a shopping spree, followed by lunch at their favorite restaurant, or celebrating a milestone birthday with a joyous sing-along, she makes a major impact as a volunteer coordinator.
Her colleague shared, “Sam always goes the extra mile and is overly compassionate. She celebrates birthdays, executes memorable Make It HappenÒ events, and acknowledges veterans in ways that are over-the-top and just so much fun. She also coordinates a beautiful heartfelt memorial service for families, friends and teammates who have lost loved ones during the year. Sam approaches grieving families with compassion and genuine concern for their well-being – she is a shining example of Ohio Living’s mission in action.”
