Long-Term Care Administrators Week Spotlight: Drew Burnett

Drew Burnett’s love for older adults started in high school when he worked in a senior living community and fell in love with the residents there. Full circle moment: now he’s the executive director at Ohio Living Quaker Heights.

“I am here for the people we serve,” Drew said. “From the financial side to ensuring resident satisfaction, in our small-town community, Ohio Living provides a vital service. I love to hear our residents’ stories and enjoy working hard to ensure a supportive environment for our amazing staff. I value them and see them all as very important to our success.”

Drew’s tenure with Ohio Living started in January 2022 at Ohio Living Llanfair in Cincinnati, Ohio. In May 2022, he transitioned to his current role at the Waynesville-based Ohio Living Quaker Heights.

For those considering a career in healthcare, Drew suggested, “Make this your passion. Find fun in the service, and take all the smiles and gratitude expressed to heart. We are here because we are needed; take pride in knowing that!”

Beyond work, Drew is a girl dad to Evelyn, Rose and Antonia. He and his wife Sam have been married since 2013, and right now, “life is all about being dad and helping out with all the ladies.” Drew is also a big sports fan and enjoys watching games on the weekend, as well as taking on DIY home projects.
