Long-Term Care Administrators Week Spotlight: Molly Brown

Serving the Cincinnati community’s healthcare needs is a labor of love for Ohio Living Llanfair’s executive director, Molly Brown. She has worked in long-term care for more than 27 years and started her Ohio Living role in December 2014.

As a healthcare leader, she is adamant about giving back to the community she lives and works in. “We are here to serve our community with any health needs they have, and it takes all of us to do this well,” Molly said. “I have gained so many friendships and lessons over the years through this profession. We cry together, laugh together and lean on one another to get through the difficult times.”

Developing relationships is an action Molly consistently takes to set her and her team up for success. “I love to develop relationships with our residents and team members,” she expressed. “Assisting our residents through rehab is an important transition, for example, and I also love being able to develop our team members. We have a responsibility to grow and develop talent, and help our team achieve their personal and professional goals.”

On a personal note, Molly is the proud mother of two boys, Miles, who is 19, and Matthew, who is 14. “I have loved watching my children mature, both physically and spiritually over the years,” shared Molly. “My boys are very involved in sports and very supportive of me.” Molly also enjoys reading and hiking in her down time.
