Social Work Month Spotlight: Denise G.

“I love that Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice – Greater Toledo allows me to think outside of the box to care for my patients,” shared Denise, a long-time social worker.

Since graduating from Bowling Green State University and becoming a social worker in 1993, Denise has worked in an array of different settings but notes the hospice environment is where she’s really found her fit. “This has been by far the most rewarding job I’ve ever had,” she offered. “I love and appreciate that I can help with end-of-life education and provide the support families need during a really difficult time.”

When she’s not working, Denise is all about spending time with her family. She is married to her husband, Matt, and the pair has three grown children, Matt, Makena and Ethan.
