When Lisa first saw how beautiful Ohio Living Cape May was, she thought, "I want to work there." Now, 20 years later, that feeling hasn’t changed. Over the years, she’s worn many hats, from resident assistant to activities; housekeeping to housekeeping supervisor.
In her current role as housekeeping supervisor, she and her team take the lead on decorating for holidays – something that always brings smiles to residents’ faces. She’s also a proud member of the Spirit Squad, a team dedicated to spreading joy among staff with fun events like taco bars, potato bars, cookie trucks, cereal day and more. “It’s just a small way to show appreciation for all they do,” Lisa relayed.
“I find my job very rewarding,” continued Lisa. “I get to meet and greet many residents and family members. As the years have flown by, I've learned how they lived their lives through stories and shared memories, and even a few tears were shed. I'm proud to be part of Ohio Living Cape May family.”
Lisa is all about family and fun. She married her high school sweetheart, and together, they’ve built a beautiful life with two children and four precious grandchildren. In her free time, Lisa enjoys drag racing, relaxing poolside, and getting creative with seasonal and holiday decorations.
