“Pure love” is how Patricia, a culinary and nutritional director at Ohio Living Llanfair, describes her job. She recently celebrated her first service anniversary on March 11.
In her role, Patricia manages the culinary experience in all three buildings at Ohio Living Llanfair, ensuring residents and their visitors enjoy delicious meals. Her team also caters a variety of events, from happy hours and birthday celebrations to holiday gatherings. Additionally, she collaborates closely with the marketing team to highlight the wonderful experience of living at an Ohio Living community, showcasing the many benefits and fun activities it offers.
“I have so much fun with my residents every day,” elaborated Patricia. “We chat about recipes, things we want to cook or grow together in the outdoor planters and cooking demo classes they’d like me to host. I treasure the cards and emails they send me, telling me how much they enjoyed something. And there’s nothing better than having a cup of tea and sharing a good laugh together.”
On a personal note, Patricia has been happily married to her husband, Rich, for 21 years. The couple has two sons, a daughter and a dog named Floyd (Rich is a huge Pink Floyd fan!). All of Patricia’s family still lives in Scotland, so she eagerly looks forward to visits. Going to concerts or the theater are activities of choice, and Patricia also has a passion for singing!
