Born and raised in nearby Middletown, Ohio, Barb Lintner grew up with two brothers and two sisters. She and her late husband, Marc, were introduced by her good friend and now neighbor at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant, Becky Spencer. Together they raised one son and welcomed two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Barb worked at AK Steel for 30 years. In retirement, she and Marc loved to travel, and one of their favorite adventures was an agriculture trip to Alaska. At home, Barb enjoyed quilting and leading a ladies' prayer group.
After her husband's passing, Barb decided it was time to find a smaller home. She heard about Ohio Living Mount Pleasant from friends and quickly knew it was the right fit.
"I love how friendly and caring everyone is," said Barb. "It's wonderful to have maintenance just a phone call away. I'm so glad I chose Ohio Living Mount Pleasant and feel very blessed to be living here."
Barb's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
