Our July Ohio Living Cape May resident spotlight is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served as a Russian interpreter. Cy married his high school sweetheart, Jo Ann, and together they shared 73 wonderful years of marriage, raising two children, Terry and Lisa.
After his military service, Cy worked in the family’s hardware store, Stephens Hardware Store. Recently, a photo of his grandfather appeared in the Wilmington News Journal for their “Wayback Wednesday” series. Outside of work, Cy found joy in mushroom hunting and searching for arrowheads.
One of the mottos Cy lives by is to “Always be truthful.” Be sure to wave the next time you see him around campus!
