Congratulations are in order for this month’s employee spotlight, because she’s tying the knot soon! From resident assistant to STNA, Miranda has spent the past two years caring for residents at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant. Recently, she got engaged at a Post Malone concert.
“I work in assisted living most of the time and have created so many memories with all of my residents,” shared Miranda. “If anyone ever sees me in the hall, I always have a smile on my face! I know my residents like the back of my hand. Sometimes, I even randomly bring them extra snacks or drinks to make their day.”
She notes that the most rewarding part of her job is coming into work and seeing not only how happy her residents are, but also, the staff she works alongside. Teamwork is an important practice, and she prides herself on being a team player. “I will help anyone out with anything,” she said. “If there is an outstanding question, I'm the one to know the answer, or I go search for tools to find out the answer.”
On a personal note, Miranda loves Post Malone, Ghostface, attending concerts and sporting events, and anything involving cactuses. She and her fiancée live in Trenton, which she loves due to their immense school spirit, with her three kids, two bonus babies and two dogs.
