The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! At Ohio Cape May, Katie was nominated for the abounding love she demonstrates toward those in her care.
Katie has worked at Ohio Living Cape May for ten years. “If there is one person that I know who loves their residents, it’s Katie,” shared her supervisor.
Her nomination continued, “The knowledge that Katie has about each and every one of her residents is astounding. She truly gets to know their likes and dislikes, and she is quick to jump in to extend care that aligns with their preferences. When you watch her interact with those she cares for, you can tell she has a special bond with each one. It is so fun to watch Katie work with the residents and love on each one of them!”
