The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! This year’s theme, Trustworthy, honors those who embody reliability, honesty and accountability. At Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice – Greater Youngstown, Marcie was nominated for her compassionate leadership.
When Marcie joined the Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice – Greater Youngstown team, trust was not automatically given. The team had experienced multiple leadership changes, and she understood the importance of earning trust through action. She took the time to get to know each team member on a deeper level, building strong relationships rooted in sincerity and follow-through.
Over the past year, Marcie has also taken the Cleveland-area team under her wing during periods of staffing transition. Her presence has created environments at both offices where support and open communication thrive.
Her nominator shared, “Marcie is welcoming, easy to approach and truly listens. She is fair, consistent and always maintains her integrity when making decisions. She has been a soft place to fall for both teams. Her commitment to Ohio Living and her teams does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the stability and care she brings each day.”
