The Ohio Living Silver Heart Award, which originated in 2020, honors best-in-class teammates living our values! This year’s theme, Trustworthy, honors those who embody reliability, honesty and accountability. At Ohio Living Bethany Hospice, Margaret was nominated for her steadfast dedication.
Meg has been with the Ohio Living Bethany Hospice team since its inception, serving as the first full-time nurse and helping build the program from the ground up. Her clinical expertise and willingness to go above and beyond have been crucial to the success of the team. She is known for taking on more than one admission per day when needed, always putting the needs of patients and families first.
One colleague shared, “I TRUST that I can always depend on Meg. She is not only an exceptional nurse but someone whose word and commitment can always be counted on.”
Meg’s compassion extends beyond her clinical skills. Her nominator added, “Meg is an exemplary hospice nurse. She supports patients, families and coworkers with integrity and kindness. It’s a pleasure to work alongside her every day.”
