Administrative Professionals Week Spotlight: Angie D

Before becoming a member of the Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice - Greater Columbus team, Angie didn’t always feel like she was “connected to the bigger picture.” Now, she thrives in her role, supporting the medical records team. Her responsibilities include obtaining signatures for outstanding orders, generating audit and billing reports, sending point of care updates for hospice patients in skilled nursing facilities and beyond.

“The most rewarding part of my job is being part of a well-oiled machine,” relayed Angie, “Together, we are able to create better outcomes for both patients and employees – we are all necessary.”

Outside of work, Angie and her husband are long-time competitive shooters, and they participate in Cowboy Action Shooting, a sport that focuses on both accuracy and timing. One of the highlights is "dressing the part," which includes cowboy hats, chaps, boots and outfits inspired by the old West. “Of course, we have some flexibility when it comes to color and accessorizing,” she added. “We’ve shot at events across the country and met fellow competitors from all around the world!”
