Jerry Mullins proudly served in both the United States Army (1972–1978) and the United States Air Force (1981–1985). Over the years, he lived in several states, including Arizona and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. South Carolina remains his favorite place he called home, where he enjoyed spending time on the golf course.
After returning to Ohio, Jerry spent 12 years working in maintenance at Ohio Living Cape May, caring for the community he now enjoys as a resident.
Family is Jerry’s greatest pride. He considers raising his two sons his greatest accomplishment and is now a proud grandfather to two granddaughters. One son lives in Oklahoma, while the other resides in Columbus.
A lifelong sports fan, Jerry enjoys watching the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes football. His hobbies have included golf and cruising in his silver 1968 Chevy Corvette. Many people are surprised to learn that he was once an avid boxer and also enjoyed singing.
Jerry lives by a simple principle: “Always practice what you preach. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
