May 2025 Resident Spotlight: Margaret “Peg” Rice

Born during the Great Depression in Cleveland, Ohio, Margaret “Peg” Rice has carried a lifelong love of learning. At 50, she boldly returned to college to earn a degree in social work, dedicating her career to serving and supporting older adults. Peg is quick to express heartfelt gratitude to those who helped her along the way; she’s the first to say she didn’t do it alone.

Peg is the proud mother of three children and was married twice, each marriage lasting over 30 years. For the past 21 years, she has called Waynesville, Ohio, home, a connection that led her to choose Ohio Living Quaker Heights as the next chapter in her journey.

Her advice to others considering a move to Ohio Living Quaker Heights: “Follow your instincts. If you feel like something is good for you, go for it. Don’t fear change – make it an opportunity.”
