In just a few months with the Ohio Living Quaker Heights team, Jayda has discovered that some of the best connections begin with a smile. Whether she's sharing a silly dance or a funny voice, she enjoys adding a little laughter to her residents' day.
As a resident assistant, Jayda helps residents with everyday needs like meals, housekeeping and laundry. Her kindness and creativity are just a few of the reasons she's a valued member of the team.
"The job isn't just a job; it's being a direct influence in someone's life,” explained Jayda. “Our residents are very special people, not just a task to check off a list. Sometimes you're the only person they get to talk to that day, so it’s important to take your time when helping them."
Outside of work, Jayda enjoys painting, drawing, crocheting and spending time with friends.
