August 2025 Resident Spotlight: Juanita Davis

Juanita was born in Jeffersonville, Ohio, and met her husband, Edsel, while they were students at Sabina High School in 1949. The two married in 1953 and shared 50 wonderful years together, raising four children along the way. Juanita pursued her passion for education at Wilmington College in 1951 and went on to enjoy a fulfilling 31-year career as a teacher. In 1957, she and Edsel also began farming, a shared endeavor that spanned 45 years.

Juanita believes in the importance of helping one another and counts her family as her greatest accomplishment. Now enjoying life at Ohio Living Cape May, she values the other residents and the freedom to choose how involved she wants to be in daily activities. Her advice to anyone considering a move is simple: this should be one of the first places you look.
