As the executive director at Ohio Living Ganzhorn Suites, Jamie oversees the daily operations of the community. Her leadership journey reflects a strong commitment to both clinical care and operational excellence.
Jamie first joined the team six years ago as the clinical coordinator for the North neighborhood, before advancing to clinical director. Two years ago, she stepped into the role of executive director. While her current position focuses largely on leading operations, Jamie still maintains her nursing license and has also earned her CEAL certification as a Certified Executive for Assisted Living. She especially enjoys the operational side of the community and working to ensure residents and team members have the resources and support they need.
“Being a part of this difficult journey of cognitive impairment is extremely rewarding,” Jamie shared. “Whether it be with a listening ear, kind word or little joke, our residents and family members truly become like a second family.”
Outside of work, Jamie lives in Marysville, Ohio with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Grace, 17, and Kennedy, 14. Their home is also shared with two sweet pups, Sammie and Teddy. Jamie enjoys traveling whenever she can and scrapbooking. A passionate animal lover, she says she would rescue every animal if she could.
For those considering a career in healthcare, Jamie offers thoughtful encouragement.
“It can be really tough, both mentally and physically,” she said. “Nonetheless, what a beautiful journey it is.”
